Google Buzz – The likes and dislikes
I am totally unprepared for the changes in Google Email. This morning when I open my gmail as usual, I found Google Buzz’s introduction page. It’s a new function and it works just as simple as twitter does.
While the people in my office they are using GMAIL service too, but it seems they have not the buzz activated in their account – which made me very satisfied and lonley, lol.
OK, here let us talk about buzz.
Here is the screenshot that I have adjusted my buzz:
As you can see the buzz is just under the inbox, and the interface is just like a twitter. You can also enable other functions in buzz, you can get youtube, twitter updates automatically to your buzz. To my surprise, I have been visiting two sites frequently, fmmorpg.com and wanzhuoyou.com, the updates on these sites can also be shown into my buzz page. While engputer.com is not in the list, why?
As you can see from the above picture, you can add and remove the updates about these sites to your buzz. But till now, I still didn’t figure out how to add or remove other sites to my buzz. Maybe in the future, gmail and google reader will combine into the buzz?
Till now, I am still alone in buzz…I am waiting for my friends to activate this function and see the interactions. I like it because it’s simple; I dislike it because due to this, Chinese GOV will have a very simple “reason” to ban Gmail service in China.
